It is busy, it is stressful, and it is noisy.
There’s a lot of noise, especially once you add kids to the mix. But just underneath the surface of that chaos, just underneath the surface of that noise, we hear music. And if we listen carefully, that music is a song that’s been placed there since the beginning of time. That song has been placed there by the grand composer Himself, not just of that song, but of the entire universe.
It’s the song of redemption.
That song tells us the story that there is a God who created this world with perfect intention and design. That we were born rebel-hearted against him in need of a savior. And he lovingly sent his son to be that savior for us. And through Him, we can have abundant life in his name. We can have forgiveness. We can have redemption. But just like every song has its own rhythm and melody, so does the story of redemption. And there are rhythms to this life that we can capitalize on as parents to help our students tune in to that song. That’s gonna be the theme of our Converge Parent Night this coming Thursday evening: Find a Rhythm. We’re gonna share a meal together, and we’re going to talk together about how we can help our own family find a rhythm to hear and listen to and love the song of redemption. Would you join us?
